Beaches

  • Kellys Beach

    Supervised beach with 25 km of golden sand dunes at Kouchibouguac National Park. Relax, swim and build a sandcastle. Access to change rooms, washrooms, showers and a food concession.

  • Aboiteau Beach (Plage de l'Aboiteau)

    Canada’s first blue flag certified beach features a change area, washrooms, showers, sandy shores and the warmest saltwater swimming in Canada.

  • Youghall Beach Park

    Supervised saltwater beach located at the majestic Bathurst Harbour. Change rooms, washrooms, boardwalk, playground and a full-service marina.

  • Centennial Beach

    Supervised man-made beach with change houses, washrooms, parking, nearby picnic areas. Located in Centennial Park.

  • New River Beach Provincial Park

    THE FUNDY TIDAL BEACH -- Campground and park featuring many recreational activities. Picnic area, sandy saltwater beach, volleyball court, playground, coastal nature trails and wildlife viewing, boardwalk, kayaking and canoeing. 

  • The Anchorage Provincial Park

    THE COASTAL WILDLIFE OASIS -- With picturesque campground, hiking and cycling trails, you will be able to learn about the geology and the wildlife of the island.

  • Inch Arran Park

    Unsupervised saltwater beach, washrooms, showers, food service, tennis court, playground and walking trail. Wildlife-viewing site. Campground just a few steps from the bay.

  • Lillas Fawcett Park and Silver Lake

    Freshwater swimming beach (supervised in the afternoons), change rooms, playground equipment, fishing and boat launch. Trout fishing at Silver Lake as well.

  • Herring Cove Provincial Park

    THE NATURE LOVERS’ RETREAT -- An island retreat; beach, camping, hiking trails (some of which were used by the Roosevelt family), golf, dining, kayaking, whale-watching and birdwatching. 

  • Mactaquac Provincial Park

    THE FOUR-SEASON PLAYGROUND -- A park showcasing 525 ha (1,300 acres) of outdoor adventure and wildlife. Enjoy the recreation centre, play golf, dine, hike, windsurf, camp, kayak, canoe, fish or swim. Open year-round

  • Murray Beach Provincial Park

    THE SEASHORE DISCOVERY BEACH -- Provincial park featuring an inviting community seaside campground with cabins and a view of the Confederation Bridge. Warm saltwater and sandy beach. 

  • Parlee Beach Provincial Park

    CANADA’S WARMEST SALTWATER BEACH -- Parlee Beach boasts the warmest salt water in Canada. Supervised beach, change houses, showers, playground, restaurant, amphitheatre, campground and a fun-filled schedule of recreational activities.
