Canada’s Warmest Saltwater Beach

One of North America’s finest beaches, this park boasts the warmest salt water in Canada. You’ll be amazed at the variety of activities offered, including a supervised swimming beach, volleyball, ultimate Frisbee, football, a sand-sculpture competition, and daily scheduled sports activities. The park’s seaside campground boasts over 190 campsites on a beautifully-groomed property.

Nearby you'll also find shopping centres and boutiques, marinas, restaurants, accommodations, cultural activities and the World’s Largest Lobster sculpture. Come spend an enjoyable day in the sun at one of the most happening beaches around!

Parlee Beach Provincial Park is a beach-lover’s dream. Go beachcombing and swimming on a sandy beach framed by grassy marshes nestled along the Northumberland Strait. When you’re ready to swap the seashore for something more urban, head to the adjacent field where an easy gravel trail takes you through the woods and into the vibrant beach town of Shediac.

Downtown to Parlee Beach

From the Downtown to Pointe-du-Chêne Trail travel through the woods on this wide gravel trail. Continue across Parlee Beach Road and through the woods again before emerging into a field near Parlee Beach.

Parlee Beach

This sandy beach is great for swimming and sandcastles but is also flanked with grassy marshes on either end. They provide wonderful spots to explore and find shorebirds and waterfowl. Lookout towers and prime beachcombing along the Northumberland Strait.
