Campobello Island

Fundy Isles (Fundy Coastal Drive)

Famous for being the beloved isle of former US President, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Campobello Island draws many visitors to see the president’s former summer home, now the 34-room Roosevelt Cottage Museum and a focal point of the Roosevelt Campobello International Park.

The island is also home to Herring Cove Provincial Park, where an array of trails and sheer cliffs allow for brilliant viewings of bald eagles, osprey and beavers. Reached by road (via the International Bridge from Lubec, Maine, USA) or by ferry from Letete (via Deer Island), Campobello Island also offers a scenic 9-hole golf course, windswept beaches, picnic areas, hiking trails, two photogenic lighthouse, whale-watching and deep-sea fishing adventures, birdwatching and much more!
