Battle of the Blues Finalists Announced

The heats for the New Brunswick Battle of the Blues 2012 are now completed so we now know 4 of the 5 acts who will fight it out in London on 27^th March for a fantastic opportunity to play at the Harvest Jazz and Blues Festival in Fredericton, New Brunswick in September 2012.

The winners were:

Newton le Willows – Chris James (a finalist for the second year running)

Bristol – Paint It Blue (a finalist at the second attempt, they were a runner up last year)

Billericay – The Little Devils

Newcastle – The Groove-A-Matics (featuring Johnny Whitehill)

So congratulations to the successful acts so far, and many thanks to all who took part, either by sending us their video links or playing live.

The last place in the final will be chosen by public vote by following the link from the home page at www.tourismnewbrunswick.co.uk .

All of the 9 acts you'll be able to choose from are runners-up from the heats and voting will run from 1^st to 28^th February 2012. We’ll announce the winner on 1^st March
