Getting around

It's easier than you might think.

Travelling around New Brunswick is a breeze. Driving is the best way to make the most of your time as it allows you to get to those ‘secret’ places that you otherwise wouldn’t be able to – and by European standards the roads are empty. But there are other options.

We have coach services connecting our major towns and cities, a rail service which runs through New Brunswick connecting Moncton with Campbellton and points in between, and we have a host of ferry services connecting ‘mainland’ New Brunswick with our islands (and with Nova Scotia), as well as numerous river ferries throughout the province.

Driving

For the freedom it gives you, the  good roads, and – compared with much of Europe and urban North America – the very light traffic, driving is by far the best way to get around our province.....
