Skiing, snowboarding, and snowmobiling are just a few of the winter activities in store for you in New Brunswick. But the one that gets us all on our feet and cheering until we're hoarse is good ol'fashioned pond hockey. Outdoors (no matter the weather) and on natural ice: it's the way the game was meant to be played.
If hockey is our most popular national game, then nobody does a better job of making us feel like Canadians than the people of Plaster Rock. Every year, about 120 teams from around the world descend on the village for the World Pond Hockey Championships.
